My interest in locks and keys began from an early age when my mother and father gave me a combination safe - money box without the combination. It didn't take me long to work out the combination for the lock when I needed to retrieve some of my savings.

I spent seventeen years in a hardware locksmithing shop learning the art of locksmithing and key cutting, but my real love was for the restoration of old locks and keys, hence - "Old Lock and Key Co."

I also spend a lot of time restoring vintage MG vehicles from the ground up with my own TC, (EBT610) an excellent example, winning best of show at Newby Hall in 2000
